Arrived to perform a two system maintenance. Found the furnaces and coils are located in the attic. The upstairs system was found with the blower motor detached on one leg and the others bent at 75* angle. The motor legs were able to be straightened, however are weak. The motor will need to be replaced with an Oem motor. Systems other wise are operating properly. Recommend to replace blower motor for the upstairs system.

Breaker box for Airhandler needs to be relocated. It’s mounted to the attic platform. Right next to the drain pan. Electrical hazard. Estimate was presented to customer. He wants to discuss with his wife. Bad contactor on condenser. Replaced it.

Dispatched to clients residence to inspect two frost free hose bib installations that are defective. Hose bibs failed, leaking from several different locations. I removed them and installed regular hose bibs per the customers request. I tested and inspected them both without and with water pressure to ensure the proper function. They are operating as directed by the manufacturer and should give the client no future problems. Thank you for choosing Carolina Conditions.

Upon arrival: customers water main is leaking around meter box an immense amount. I discussed with husband over the phone the estimate to excavate, repair the 3/4”- 1” PVC water up to 2’ and test for operation. Husband declined to have work performed today due to price. No further issues at this time. Customer is relaying estimate to contractor who installed their new pool because they claim they are at fault for the breakage at the water meter.

(The primary issue was that the vent termination had fallen off from the exhaust cover on the outside. The vent was then blocked by the exterior wall after it had fallen. Vince did an exceptional job diagnosing and repairing my mini-splits. I had been having reoccurring problems with my NEW system for over 2 years that no one else seemed to be able to figure out. Vince came and put extra effort into understanding the system and the problems I was having, then went even further to research and discuss with other professionals. To my delight, he was able to find a solution to the problems that were causing my units to quit working and one that was leaking down my wall. He came back and clearly explained what had been happening, he and Mike replaced the water pumps in several of the units, fixed some wiring, leveled the units so they would drain properly, and correct a water flow issue that relied on gravity flow in portions of the system. He even took the time to look at a ceiling light that had quit working when the system was installed and figured out what was happening with it. Vince was professional and polite during all the visits, listened to my concerns, was honest regarding problems that he was seeing, and didn't give up on finding the resolution. Vince and Mike worked quickly to implement the repairs and solutions, and cleaned everything up before leaving. Both Vince and Mike were professional and polite. A great job done. I highly recommend both Vince and Mike!
