Here are 4 simple ways to improve your indoor air quality:
- Keep your floors clean. Using a vacuum cleaner with powerful suction, spinning brushes, and a HEPA filter prevents dust and debris from being blasted back out via the exhaust.
- Maintain proper humidity. Keeping humidity levels between 30% and 50% helps to keep them and other allergies under control.
- Stop using air fresheners. Synthetic scents like laundry detergent and air fresheners release a slew of toxins into the environment.
- Frequently change your HVAC filters. As a general guideline, you should replace your home's pleated air filters and furnace filters every 90 days.
Carolina Conditions provides a variety of indoor air quality solutions to help you breathe better air at home. Contact us to learn more.
The average household pays between $166 and $597 for AC repair. Prices vary considerably depending on the issue, part and project complexity. The hourly rate might range from $35 to $200. Keep in mind that many contractors base their prices on the task rather than on hourly labor.
At Carolina Conditions, our mission is to provide our customers with superior quality products and services at a fair price. Give us a call to schedule service.
From an economic standpoint, LED lighting is the most energy-efficient alternative on the market. These bulbs use far less energy to give the same brightness as typical incandescent lights, and even less energy than compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs.
Also, LEDs are safer for you and your family, as well as the environment. LEDs are shatterproof because they are made of hard plastic rather than glass. If a bulb does fail, you won't have to worry about mercury poisoning because LEDs are mercury-free.
Interested in upgrading your home lighting to LED lights? Contact Carolina Conditions for a consultation!
There are a number of possible reasons for your water heater to stop working. If your electric water heater isn't generating hot water, it might be as easy as a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker. Another easy issue is an unplugged or defective power cord. If you have a gas water heater, a thermocouple or thermopile could have failed, causing the pilot light to go out. If the pilot light goes out, the gas valve closes to prevent gas from reaching the burners and creating hot water. A failed heating element or thermostat is also a possibility. If the thermostat in a single-element heater fails, there will be no hot water.
If you’re having water heater problems in your Chapin home, call Carolina Conditions right away for troubleshooting and repair.

Dispatched to customers home to remove short 50 gallon electric water heater and install new 50 gallon electric water heater in compliance with current code. I began draining the water heater after I disconnected the power and turned off the water supply to it, but because of sediment issues, I was unable to drain it using a garden hose. I had to remove the T&P and drain it into a 5 gallon bucket several times in order to get it light enough to extract it through the crawlspace door. I then installed the new 50 gallon water heater with an electrical disconnect, expansion tank, and shut off valve on the cold side. I pro pressed to the copper on the hot side and adapted the three-quarter inch CPVC on the cold side to supply the tank. When finished, I reattached the vapor barrier to the bottom of the tank and ran the drain for the T&P through the brick wall under the deck. See company cam for details on my work. Tank is working wonderfully and client is happy. Thank you for choosing Caro

Upon inspection of HVAC unit, I found it in bad shape. No filter for at least 2 years. Evap coil looked like a quilt. Gave estimates for deep clean of evap coil and deep clean on condenser coil. Due to these components getting so extremely dirty, that is likely what caused the evap coil to start leaking. Client is gonna get a filter and I will put it in tomorrow. Due to time and the shape of her unit I have to finish this call tomorrow. I will also finish my notes tomorrow. Upon inspection of duct work, found it to be done very well. All boots sealed good. Upon inspection of electrical, found about half the breaker box was loose breakers. These breakers will generate heat when moved around. Never exceeding 90*. Also have a light switch in kitchen that controls light over dinning room table. When on, the light dims and brightens on its own and has about a 3 second delay before coming on. Found some outlets with open hot and some with open ground. Will set referral for electrical to

I then entered the crawlspace to see how I would run my half-inch pecks from the CPVC supply line at the kitchen sink. Created a detailed estimate which the client will review. Please email all estimates for this job. Thank you for choosing Carolina Conditions.

Kitchen drain stoppage Upon arrival we met with Miss Jamie and she took us to the kitchen area where she had a clog at her sink. We then gave her a price of what we will have to do to perform the work to make sure her drain lines were operational. She didn’t approve the estimate we then proceeded with our work by removing the excess of water that was inside of the compartment sink for the garbage supposal we then disassembled the P-trap assembly so that we can gain access to utilize our medium drain machine. We then went 50 feet down the drain line to ensure that the line was clear we seen noodles inside of the drain line we’ve been informed Miss Jamie not to pour a large amount of noodles down the drain due to the noodles causing a obstruction in the drain line where she is not able to drain waste down the main drain . We then informed her that we offer a enzyme call total see that eats up organic materials down the drain line to help establish flow removing anything sticky along the
