HVAC, Plumbing & Electrician Contractor FAQs
A blocked or clogged condenser coil might be the cause of your air conditioner working but not decreasing temperatures inside. An outdoor condenser unit is part of your central air conditioning system. The condenser unit's exterior contains a big outside coil that wraps the majority of the way
around the unit. The coil is made up of a succession of thin metal "fins" that are very closely spaced. The condenser fan sucks air into the outside unit through the condenser coil to extract heat energy from your house while it's working properly. Dirt, grass, and other flying debris can clog the coil by accumulating between the fins causing the problem.
The average cost to repair your central AC system near Columbia SC is around $450. They typical range cost anywhere from $225 - $950.
AC repair costs are influenced by many factors including what the problem is, any parts that will need replacing, what kind of system you have, how long the repairs will take and who you hire. Because of this, the cost for repairs can be considerably lower or higher.
Most homeowners will spend anywhere from $3,000-$7,500 for AC replacement, which covers the cost of the system as well as the labor. The reason for such a large range is because the cost can vary greatly depending on a number of factors including the type/brand of unit you want installed, the difficulty of the installation and who you hire.
Carolina Conditions offers expert services and high-quality products. For more information on our AC services, give us a call today!
Clean your AC filters on a regular basis, or purchase an air conditioning service plan that usually includes a filter change – especially if you have allergies or live in a polluted metropolitan area. This is one of the easiest ways to ensure your indoor air quality is optimal.
Air conditioning systems are always working to maintain the ideal temperature in your house throughout the year. However, as they circulate through all that air, they filter out some of the most frequent contaminants. Their air filters eventually become clogged and stop functioning. Not only does this harm your interior air quality, but it also wears out your air conditioning system, perhaps resulting in pricey repairs down the line.
Finding plumbers who are experts at what they do and that deliver you high-quality products and services can be difficult. It’s hard to know how good a plumber is before you hire them, but there are a few ways you can see if a plumber is the real deal. Firstly, make sure they are certified and have years of experience delivering professional plumbing services. It’s also helpful to look at their reviews and make sure their customers are satisfied and don't have any complaints about the company or the service.

Bryan gave my toilet the attention and service it needed. Not only is the toilet flushing smoothly, the handle, which was wobbly, is fitted securely. Because of previous problems with this toilet, I was considering replacing it. Hopefully, Bryan's work will hold up and replacement won't be necessary.

We live in an older home and recently encountered a leaking copper pipe in the kitchen ceiling. When the technician opened the ceiling he discovered that the size of the pipe is no longer available. In addition to this hurdle that had to be dealt with, the tech discovered that the main water shut off valve was ancient and simply would not turn with the tool that he had in the truck. This is a long story. Bottom line - the tech (Brian) was smart, hard working and resourceful. He fixed the leak - life is now back to normal. Thank you Brian - you are a true renaissance man!

Repair defective drain from washer and kitchen Dispatched to clients home to diagnose drainage issues from laundry room backing up into kitchen sink. I entered the crawlspace and inspected the grade on the drain from the kitchen basin and found it to be severely back graded. In order to address this issue, I created an estimate to raise the kitchen drain configuration so that proper grade can be achieved. I cut and rebuilt the 2 inch PVC drain using a 45, 90, and some additional 2 inch pipe. I then tied into the existing drain using a 2 inch PVC coupling. When finished, I allowed my glue to cure fully, inserted the cold line from the washing machine into the washing machine drain, ran it wide-open, and also ran the kitchen faucet at the same time. There is no longer a back up into the kitchen sink from the laundry. Drain and proper grade on the drain have been created. See company cam for details on my work. Dispatched to renovation site to inspect security of both toilets, tighten the basin at the kitchen sink, and install the cover over the washer box. I tightened the basin clips at the kitchen sink, and then use clear silicone to seal it to the countertop. The master toilet needed to be secured further to the flange through use of the bolts. I cut them to the correct height after tightening them and replaced the caps. I then used silicone to secure both toilets to the floor even further and finish out the work. See company cam for details on my work. Thank you for choosing Carolina Conditions.

Customer is a billed customer Upon arrival we met with Mr. Eric and seeing that there are issues with his water lines underneath his crawlspace. The water lines for the hot and cold are undersize and corroding very very bad and the copper pipe is in poor condition where you can’t make any repairs at without another issue occurring. We written a estimate for a whole home re-pipe for the waterlines this is going to need to be a two-man job with a 2 1/2 day. Customer is going to call the office for a hole home re-pipe as well as a service agreement. We are going to need electrical to come out and do a estimate for new electrical outlets for the outside breezeway area for cars. We returned the material list down inside of the description under general plumbing. Please have the office called Mr. Eric as soon as possible Mr. Erich might would like to do a finance program.
